Corporate financiers advise clients on acquisitions, disposals, valuations and capital-raising. Corporate financiers typically work in investment banks, although they can also work in smaller ‘boutique’ corporate finance firms and larger professional services firms.
I can honestly say that each day is eventful, and I never know quite what is round the corner. Take the last time I went to work as an example. I arrived at work at 8.30 – official office hours are 9.30 to 5.30 but I share my room with a paralegal and I like the uninterrupted hour before everyone else arrives.
