More About Mills & Reeve
Mills & Reeve is one of the UK’s leading full-service
law firms. With 88 partners and over 800
staff, we’re a major firm that is growing quickly.
We service a national and international client
base from offices in Birmingham, Cambridge,
Leeds, London, Manchester and Norwich.
Core sectors are: corporate and commercial,
banking and finance, technology, insurance, real
estate, healthcare, education, government and
private client.
We welcome applications from both law and
non-law disciplines. We expect you to have already
gained or be on course for a 2:1 degree
or equivalent. You will be ready to accept early
responsibility. You need to be highly motivated
with excellent interpersonal skills, confidence,
commercial awareness, professional attitude
and a sense of humour.
Trainees complete six four-month seats and are
recruited to our Birmingham, Cambridge and
Norwich offices. Trainees can temporarily move
to another office to complete a seat not practised
in their base office. The firm will support the
move with an accommodation allowance.
Trainees work alongside a partner or senior solicitor.
Training is supported by a full induction programme,
regular in-house training developed by
our team of Professional Support Lawyers and
the professional skills course.
Job opportunities on qualification are good and
a high proportion of trainees remain with the
firm. |
