Nationwide Graduate Programme (NGP)
As the UK’s biggest building society we don’t
have any shareholders, just a passionate,
wholehearted commitment to our customers
and the communities we serve. It’s the quality
of our people that enables us to understand
our customers needs and to create innovative
solutions to achieve their goals.
Here in the UK, we offer a two/three year
graduate programme, comprising of either
a generalist or a specialist scheme. Both
schemes incorporate a comprehensive training
programme, job rotations around the business
to broaden your experience and access to a
senior mentor who will support you through the
scheme. If you provide the enthusiasm and
drive to succeed, we’ll provide all the tools,
training and support to help you advance your
career.
We seek candidates who demonstrate a
combination of academic aptitude, exceptional
drive, creative thinking and interpersonal skills
with a team focus and the dedication to building
a career in the financial services industry.
Training & Development
Training is provided through a blend of group
learning, on-the-job initiatives, coaching and
skills training which include leadership and
relationship skills to help you build a formidable
set of skills. You will increase your commercial
awareness and learn how to make a direct
impact.
Internship and Placement Position
We offer eight to twelve-week internships over
the summer months and a range of year-long
placements which will inspire and motivate
you every step of the way. You’ll gain handson
experience working on live projects with
genuine responsibility and exciting challenges
to give you an insight into the heart of our
