More About Grant Thornton
Everyone's different. Fortunately so are we.
We focus on being a bold and positive leader in
our chosen markets and within the accounting
profession. We’re the UK’s fifth largest
accountancy firm, with 29 UK offices and 4,400
staff, providing advice to clients of every
description. We’ve got a presence in over 100
different countries, so there’s the potential for
international exposure and scope to realise your
ambitions.
We believe in giving people responsibility - early
on
We are looking for graduates to join our
audit/assurance, tax, business risk services,
recovery and reorganisation and actuarial
departments. We encourage all our trainees to
take ownership and drive their development by
putting their new skills into practice straight
away. So whether you’re working with a household
name or a smaller client, you’ll be face-toface
with finance directors, government bodies
business owners, influential non-executive
directors and well-known financial institutions.
We believe in providing specialised training
Our graduate scheme has been designed to help
you become a qualified professional as smoothly
and quickly as possible. Our national induction
programme and training courses are held at our
dedicated training centre, Bradenham Manor,
where you will gain essential business, technical
and professional skills through a selection of
courses. Beyond qualification, your career
development will feature specialist and managerial
training, and for some people, progression to
partnership.
We believe in offering variety
However, what matters most is the work you will
be doing on a day-to-day basis. Our trainees
work across a variety of different sectors and
within different teams to develop a breadth of
skills. Secondments and transfers into different
specialisms across the firm are commonplace
and our international secondment programme
opens up avenues to experience the global
opportunities that are open to our people.
